It’s our “Sewing Machine Day” inspired bridal shower. Really, by now you must know…I can use any excuse to inspire and plan a party!
Sewn Invitations

Left to right: Etsy shop - olivedaisy, Etsy shop - creativeutility
Etsy.com has got to be my favorite handmade shopping site. Where else could you find sewn invitations? From fabric and paper sewn onto a card, to hand-stitched messages of ‘happily-ever-after’ – this is surely a glimpse into all the sewn surprises the shower will hold for guests!
Bride’s Corsage (or in this case, Bride’s Shoe Pin or Brooch)

Etsy shop - sofisticata
It’s just a little something for the bride-to-be to remind her she’s the guest of honor!
Garland & Pennants

Left to right: Etsy shop - jumpupanddown, Etsy shop - kategreiner
This has got to be the hottest look this season! Hot because fabric and scrapbooking paper is so easy to mix and match with your color or theme…AND…it’s a quilter’s (fabric pennants) and scrapbooker’s (paper garland) dream come true!
Tablerunners

Etsy shop - paulaanderika
Need a few more excuses to prompt you to turn on the machine? Change the look of any table with a simple runner – and without having to worry about find the right color tablecloth!
Monogrammed Towels in a Towel Cake

Another excuse to dust off your sewing machine…monogrammed towels. If just towels aren’t enough, try rolling them into a towel cake and use as a gift, decoration and centerpiece.

Sewn Memory Book

Etsy shop - iheartbooks22
Last but not least, a memory book to store all the photos and mementos!
I hope you’ve been inspired to pull out the sewing machine. Or, if you’re not like me, started looking for friends who can sew!
